It can also still be used in all the same external ways as tincture of iodine but contains no synthetic substances or alcohol.
Certified Organic Vegetable Glycerin
Vegetable glycerin is a clear, odorless liquid produced from plant oils. It’s a smooth, hydrating substance with a slightly sweet taste that’s easy to digest and is good for skin externally. It makes an excellent “carrier” for the nascent iodine and helps to increase absorption.
